Learn to drive a minibus with the RSA Driving School

At the RSA Driving School we are continuing to expand our range of tuition services and are happy to say we now provide minibus and minivan driving lessons.

Mini-Bus Lessons (category D1)

 

  • Lessons are charged at €45.00 per hour (normally conducted in two-hour sessions)
  • We offer a special offer discount on a course of 10 hours that costs €400 (Save €50)
  • To Hire an RSA Minibus for your Driving Test costs €175.00 (including a Pre-Test hour)

 

Our minibus lessons are not only tailored to meet the standards set down by the RSA, but with the qualifications of our elite instructors some of whom are ex testers themselves, you will surpass this level and we will train you to think like an advanced passenger driver ensuring safety and comfort for yourself, your passengers and other road users. Some schools offer reversing bays but we dont know of any bus driver in this country who has the luxury of reversing their vehicle without any other traffic or vehicles or indeed other pedestrians around. The RSA testers  themselves use public street corners as reversing points on some test  routes and observe your observation while carrying out the reverse which is a more realistic approach to the manouvre. We now offer Driver CPC training, Artic and Rigid (category EC and C1) lessons and also coach and Car & trailer lessons in the following areas:

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All lessons are booked with the full intention of them being delivered by your RSA Driving School Instructor, however, in the unlikely event that it becomes necessary for us to cancel a lesson, we will endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible and we will always seek to offer you an alternative time or date that is suitable for you. Should this not be possible, then upon your request, the lesson fee (if prepaid) will be refunded to you in full.

If you should need to cancel or change the date or time of a lesson, RSA Driving School requires a minimum of 48 hours notice, so that we can re-book the Instructor's time. Should you be unable to keep to your booked appointment and give less than 48 hours notice, then your lesson fee will still be due for payment and it will NOT be refunded if it has been prepaid.

If you have booked an Intensive Course, RSA Driving School requires 14 days notice of cancellation in order for you to receive a full refund. Should you give less than 14 days notice, but more than 7 days notice, then 50% of the fee paid will be refunded to you. In the event that you give less than 7 days notice of cancellation, then your course fee will NOT be refunded.

If you book a Semi-Intensive Course, RSA Driving School requires 10 days notice of cancellation in order for you to receive a full refund. Should you give less than 10 days notice, but more than 7 days notice then 50% of the fee paid will be refunded to you. In the event that you give less than 7 days notice of cancellation, then your course fee will NOT be refunded

If upon arrival for a lesson, your RSA Driving Instructor deems that a pupil is unfit to undertake the lesson due, for example, to the effects of drugs or alcohol, then the Instructor will NOT continue with the lesson, however the pupil will be liable for the full cost of the duration of the lesson period which they had booked.

All purchases made through RSA Driving School are subject to a 14-day cooling off period. Once any of the services have not been availed of during the 14 days the purchase may be cancelled and a full refund obtained.
